Considering the role of emotions in L2 use/learning and different contexts modes (online, hybrid, in-person), present study aims to analyze discuss that emerged those three modes. With aim, we draw on two sets data produced as part larger studies online, in-person hybrid settings Brazil, Spain, UK USA. Overall, results point need address native-speakerism education well unpleasant feelings related online learning and/or abrupt transitions
